With the experience from 25 years of PTFE processing, Roland Baum founded the company BAUM KUNSTSTOFFE GmbH in 1986.
New production technologies, flexibility in service and administration as well as high customer satisfaction led to a swift growth. BAUM KUNSTSTOFFE GmbH manufacture piping parts of steel according to DIN 2874/2848 with PTFE/PFA, PP or PVDF lining, with a high technological standard and state of the art equipment. BAUM cover the complete production process, building the steel parts on modern welding centers as well as extruding PTFE-semi products on special extruders. The lining processes are supported by automated production technologies.
Virginal PTFE and PFA are exclusively sourced by manufacturers with a DIN ISO 9000 certificate. The paste-extrusion of PTFE and the injection of PFA into form parts are carried out with self-developed machines.
